Foodie Paradise in Liliw, Laguna

I work as a copywriter for an advertising agency, and one of the perks of my job is that we go to different places for shoots. One out-of-town shoot brought us all the way to Liliw, Laguna, a place to know for its slippers and a very old church.

In the afternoon, we are shooting a sari-sari store (local convenience store) scene. We chanced upon a small bakeshop/ coffeeshop called Arabella. We were surprised to find a place like this in the province. Cozy and inviting, Arabella is a treasure that gave contrast to the rural and humble feel of the province. In other words, for out-of-towners this place is paradise.

Never in Manila can you find yummy, cheesy lasagna for only 60 pesos!

Bread pudding for only 50 pesos?

In Arabella, Italian style pizzas and divine cakes that are so light on the pocket its almost criminal. And they taste good, too.

We may never pass through Liliw again, but if we do I won't hesitate to go this place. My tastebuds fell in love with Arabella, the secret rendezvous of Liliw, Laguna.
